You never need an account to contact us or to make a privacy request — there are no accounts on this site.
Reporting a correction
This is the message we most want to receive. Our pages are built from published specifications, and specifications change, documentation gets revised, and sources are sometimes simply wrong. To make it quick to fix, include:
- the URL of the page;
- what specifically is wrong; and
- a source, if you have one — a spec sheet or release note is ideal.
Substantive corrections get noted on the page with the date and what changed. We do not silently edit errors away. See the Editorial Policy for the full corrections process.
Things we cannot help with
- Support for a product you bought. We do not sell anything, and purchases through our links are contracts between you and the retailer. Contact the manufacturer or the retailer.
- Installation or wiring advice. Read the manual and, for anything mains-wired, hire a qualified electrician.
- Sponsored posts, paid placement, or link insertions. We do not accept them at any price. Please do not ask twice.
For manufacturers
If we have described one of your products inaccurately, write to the corrections address with the correct documentation and we will fix it. That route is open to you on exactly the same terms as to anyone else, and it is the only route — we do not remove or amend accurate findings on request, and we do not accept payment to change a page.
